  Welcome to Dave & Karen Petty's website, currently based in Market Weighton in East Yorkshire, England. We're trying to keep this site up to date with activities and interests, especially what we do for our holidays. We spend most of our spare time walking, cycling, motorcycling and trying to take pictures as we go. Our main aim in life is to enjoy ourselves, we're not here to work ourselves to ill health as so many people seem to do these days. Since we started the HoneyPotGifts internet gift business, there's a bit less spare time so we don't get as much time to play as we'd like, although that's all about to change in July 2009. If you want to know more about us, start off with a look a the "About Us" page, otherwise just browse around the site. There are pictures on most pages which expand to larger views when you click on them. There are some links to favourite sites, web development stuff and a guestbook on the feedback page. Constructive comments preferred, although you can say pretty much anything you like, if we don't like it we'll just ignore it anyway!

  We're getting settled in with the new Ducati, we've a trip to Wales planned for later this year which we're looking forward to. Pics on the motorcycle page after the event. Results table for the Langdale EBOR event now updated on the Mountain Bike MTBO page. Tandem Tour of the Vales pictures added.

April 2006

  After 4 years with the ZXR-750, we decided to change the motorcycle for a bike which would be more comfortable for touring on. After a couple of days looking around and testing a few bikes, we became the proud owners of a pristine Ducati ST2, see some pictures on the motorcycle page. The second EBOR Trailquest of 2006 was at Great Langdale in the North York Moors, results and pictures on the Mountain Bike MTBO page.

  News of Dave's new toy on the camera page, and a revised Arillas 2002 page with lots more pictureas and text. Some of the other pages will be getting a makeover in the coming months as I finally get around to updating the website properly. The 2006 Trailquest season has started, results and pictures on the Mountain Bike MTBO page.

  It's that time of year again, the CTC York Cycle Rally is taking place at the Knavesmire in York, 24th to 26th June 2005, Click here for information. We're planning to ride up there on the tandem, camping gear in the BoB Yak trailer which we bought last year and haven't used yet. Pictures will follow as soon as we get chance.

  Added the Haworth 2005 pictures and transferred the whole website from our old free webspace to a new domain hosted by Hosting Unlimited.

  Site reformatted to make it more consistent and easier to update. Scottish New Year 2005 trip added.

  Removed the responsomatic feedback page because they've added too much advertising, added a guest book from HTML gear instead. It's still got advertising but hey, nothing's perfect.

  MBO stats updated on the competition page. Visitor counter changed to www.statcounter.com

  Website revised to suit the new menu, which I found at www.dynamicdrive.com

  CAMrPA now has it's own site at www.camrpa.co.uk, so the CAMrPA section has been removed from this site.

January 2004

  Revised version of our site, simpler to use and much easier for Dave P to update, it still has the same range of information, plus a new section has been added for those who take part in "CAMrPA Tours". All of the pages have now been updated, hopefully they should all work in your browser, let us know if there are any problems.
